Dr. Peter Rothbart presented the role of music in narrative film on September 17 in SET 215. Dr. Rothbart has taught at Ithaca College had has been in the Bimington Film Harmonic Orchestra. In this lecture, Dr. Rothbart explained the importance of music in film and how important it is to set the tone with music. His explained the different ways to enhance the image of the movie, the effects of intro and outro music, and the reason music is in film.
